CRIX XL 3 mm self-levelling spacers are specially designed for thick tiles (12 to 22 mm) and projects requiring a wider joint between slabs.

This XL model integrates perfectly into the complete CRIX system, developed to ensure fast, perfectly flat and uniform installation of large-format tiles.

The 3 mm joint width is ideal for outdoor projects (terraces, pool surrounds, walkways...) or surfaces exposed to temperature variations, where a wider expansion joint is recommended. Thanks to their reinforced design, these clips are particularly suited to heavy materials such as thick pressed concrete, or natural stone.

Safe installation and professional finish

Like all CRIX clips, the XL 3 mm model is inserted between tiles before the adhesive sets. It serves both as a spacer and as a self-levelling support, helping to correct height differences between tiles.

Once the mortar has cured, simply remove the CRIX WEDGE and snap off the protruding top of the clip along the grout line. What remains is a clean, regular joint—free of visible marks or damage to the surface.
