1. Our adjustable pedestals are made of recycled plastic

98% of the total weight of the adjustable pedestals consists of recycled polypropylene. More than 1,200 tons of plastic waste per year is reprocessed into an adjustable terrace pedestal whose function is to make a circular terrace. This waste is also purchased from local parties in Belgium, this to reduce transportation to the minimum. In addition, we have reduced our environmental impact to 46 gr CO² eq. per pedestal (=see certificate Enperas). Here we have only 7% of the full life cycle impact taking into account distribution and incineration.

Adjustable pedestals supports the terrace and make disassembly possible and easy. Materials are easily disassembled at the end of their life and possibly reused.

2. Big bags and sacks fully recyclable

The bags in which our adjustable pedestals are packed consist of recycled polypropylene. These bags can be reused by our customers for packing e.g. garden waste.

The big bags consist of polypropylene, in which the raw materials from our supplier are transported to our factory. When these bags are empty, they are returned to our supplier who then refills the bags with our raw material. If the bags are damaged too much, they are also recycled again at the supplier into new bags. These bags can be reused up to five times.
