Self-levelling system – CRIX keg

The CRIX Keg is an integral part of the CRIX levelling system, designed to ensure a perfectly flat installation of tiles or slabs, both indoors and outdoors. Used together with the CRIX self-levelling system, it keeps tiles level while the adhesive dries, preventing any misalignment or “lippage.”

Easy to use, even without prior experience, the keg is inserted into the clip to apply consistent tension between the tiles. Once the adhesive has hardened, simply remove the keg and break off the protruding part of the clip along the joint. The result: a smooth, even surface with a professional finish.

A perfectly level surface, without effort

By combining the CRIX Keg with levelling clips (1 mm, 1.5 mm, 2 mm or 3 mm) or with XL clips (1.5 mm, 3 mm or 5 mm), you get a simple and effective system for laying tiles with precision. The keg applies vertical pressure on the tiles to keep them perfectly level until the adhesive sets. It is suitable for tiles from 3 to 13 mm thick (or up to 22 mm with XL clips) and can be used with the CRIX plier for optimal tension.
