We are expanding today some of our ranges!

The year 2023 will be one of various innovations at SOLIDOR. We will be adding adaptations and new products to our different ranges. In particular, we are expanding our Structusol range with a new accessory, we are adding a new accessory to our Comfort range and we are also introducing a new range, with flame-retardant pedestals.

1. Structusol gamma – Structusol Edge Finish System

Some time ago, the Structusol range was launched on the market for the easy placement of large-format tiles, but there are also a number of additional advantages associated with this range. What did not yet exist before in the Structusol range was an edge finish system for the edges parallel to the Structusol aluminium support system.

From today, SOLIDOR will launch the Structusol Edge Finish system on the market. This metal piece allows you to finish off the visible edges of your terrace nicely with the Structusol system, this in combination with the bottom piece of the classic Edge Finish of the Comfort range. Contact adhesive needs to be placed against the metal piece with our S-logo and on the surfaces of the tiles that are adjacent to each other. This metal piece is then attached to the ceramic tile, which rests on the bottom piece of the Comfort edge finish.

2. FIRESOL gamma – Fire-resistant pedestals

Another novelty is the Firesol range, which is being added to the various ranges. The Firesol range consists of six modular terrace pedestals, starting with a minimum height of 35 mm and can go up to 220 mm.

The great advantage of using these pedestals is that they are fireproof and have a high bearing capacity, so they can handle 3 tons per pedestal. The pedestals each have a locking ring (=level control) and comply with the Euroclass A1 standard.

These Firesol pedestals can be used for the installation of a wooden terrace, as well as a terrace with tiles. In addition, SOLIDOR also has a top plate with 3 mm joint for a terrace with tiles. This top plate is made of galvanised metal and the lugs can be easily broken off with pliers. In addition, this top plate can also be combined with a bitumen adhesive layer, which is mechanically attached to the top plate. This top plate ensures an extremely solid connection between the pedestal and the tile and also gives extra stability to your terrace.

3. Tilekey

Finally, we are launching the Tilekey, under the Comfort range. Just as in the Comfort range, this accessory can be used in the Premium range. The Tilekey is easily installed on all types of tile terraces and prevents the tiles from blowing away due to strong gusts of wind. As indicated below, this lock is placed between the tiles, always at the corners. This lock is screwed directly into the top plate of the pedestal by means of a screw.

If your terrace is located where strong winds can occur, this can also be combined with the top plate Sticksol. This self-adhesive top plate has a bitumen adhesive layer, to which the tiles are additionally attached.

This calculator estimates the amount of adjustable pedestals and accessories you need for your project
